Arkansas Section Bulletin

      About the Newscast:

The Arkansas Section Bulletin™ is a monthly podcast is produced by the Arkansas Section of the Amateur Radio Relay League to share news and information of the Arkansas Section and surrounding areas. This newscast contains news of interest to radio amateurs worldwide. The bulletins conform to all sections and codes as outlined under the United States FCC Part 97 Amateur Radio Service rules regarding the legal means of amateur radio operators issuing "QST’s" or "Bulletins of Interest to All Amateurs." We differ only in format and follow a more traditional radio "spot news" format.

Production Values:

Arkansas Section Bulletin™ stories include the voices of the newsmakers themselves so that you can more easily understand the effect that the story will have on all radio amateurs. If you have ever heard Amateur Radio Newsline™, CBS Network Radio News or NBC News on the Hour then you will be familiar with the format utilized by Arkansas Section Bulletin™, with the exception that the information we provide is strictly directed to radio amateurs.

Distribution:

Arkansas Section Bulletin™ is available online as a downloadable MP3, streaming audio, and is available in iTunes. It is also rebroadcast on local repeaters and networks around the Section.

For more information visit the Section's only official web site at http://www.arrl.org/sections/view/arkansas.
